Little Caesars’ is launching a limited-time $5 pizza deal through Amazon Prime in what it describes as “a first-of-its-kind collaboration,” according to an emailed press release. The pizza chain will offer Prime Members the ability to order a $5 large pepperoni or cheese pizza for delivery or in-store pickup through Amazon from June 15 to June 26, per an Amazon press release. The offer is available up to five times over the course of the promotion, per its terms and conditions.
Little Caesars said the promotion was intended to create brand touchpoints in ecosystems where customers already exist.
“Whether it’s our Amazon Prime Day partnership, Chat GPT [sic] ordering, or drone pizza delivery, we’re meeting consumers where they are and delivering the convenience and affordability they expect from our brand,” wrote Greg Hamilton, Little Caesar’s chief marketing officer.
In April, Little Caesars launched a deal with ChatGPT that lets consumers order through the chatbot’s interface. Flytrex and Little Caesars are also working together to deploy a big drone for big orders.
While Little Caesars is privately held — and, thus, does not disclose quarterly sales figures — the QSR pizza segment as a whole has struggled in recent quarters. Papa Johns and Pizza Hut, for example, posted significant same-store sales declines and Domino’s reached less than 1% comps growth in Q1 2026. Little Caesars’ efforts to create new ordering channels and delivery opportunities could help it grow transactions during a period of sectoral weakness.
Pizza chains saw inconsistent foot traffic in early 2026
Across the first three months of 2026, Little Caesars’ foot traffic outperformed publicly traded rivals, according to data from Placer.ai. The data, however, does not include delivery sales. Little Caesars’ foot traffic, relative to 2025, stagnated in March and dropped in April and May, according to Placer.ai, with a 2.3% drop in May. Pizza Hut and Papa Johns also performed unevenly, with each seeing negative foot traffic in four out of the first five months of 2026, per Placer.ai.
