Hi Auto, the AI company transforming drive-thru operations, has been named Legendary Supplier of the Year by Bojangles’ Restaurants, Inc. The award was presented during the Bojangles Foundation Golf Tournament at a special dinner with franchisees and company leadership. It is the first time a technology partner has received this honor.
Bojangles recognized Hi Auto for its role in deploying Bo-Linda, the AI Order Taker, now live in more than 415 restaurants. Bo-Linda consistently takes almost all orders in each store, freeing crew members to focus on food quality and hospitality. The system also drives measurable sales growth by recommending add-ons and upsells in a natural, conversational way.
Independent validation has confirmed Bo-Linda’s performance. The In Touch Insight 2025 Emerging Technology Report found Bojangles leading QSR rivals in voice AI completion rate, 97 percent compared with 73 percent at Wendy’s and 70 percent at Taco Bell. In addition, In Touch Insights’ 120 secret-shopper visits reported smoother guest experiences at Bojangles compared with competitors.
During the ceremony, Richard Del-Valle, CIO and Chief of Staff at Bojangles, highlighted the impact of the partnership:
“Bo-Linda allows us to execute our strategy effectively by deploying decisions at maximum precision across our system, increasing average check, promoting new products, and delivering a consistent guest experience in both English and Spanish.”
Roy Baharav, CEO and Co-Founder of Hi Auto, added:
“Being named Legendary Supplier of the Year is not just an award, but proof of what is possible when operators and technologists work side by side. Bojangles has set the bar high. Their bold decisions across operations, marketing, and IT, and their up-front investment in infrastructure, have been key to Bo-Linda’s success.”
The recognition reflects a larger industry shift: conversational AI is no longer experimental, it has become an essential part of QSR operations.
