Daybright Coffee and Refreshment made its debut on Oct. 30 in Hiram, Georgia, as the first beverage-focused concept under Red Wagon Ventures. The company is a subsidiary of Chick-fil-A, which it uses to experiment with different concepts.
Daybright is the latest beverage-focused concept to come from a major chain, as QSRs work to attract younger generations through buzzy, social media-friendly drinks. Taco Bell is expanding its Live Mas Cafe to Texas this year after opening it in several California locations. McDonald’s tried its own beverage concept, CosMc’s, but closed it after a few years of experimentation and will test beverages inspired by the spinoff in the near future.
Daybright features a dual-lane drive-thru and a full dining room, according to an emailed press release. The concept is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“With schedules busier than ever, we know people are looking for easy, convenient ways to enjoy quality food and beverages,” said David Farmer, vice president of Red Wagon Ventures. “Daybright is designed with this in mind, offering delicious beverages and portable bites intended to delight customers and help boost their busy days.”
In addition to classic coffee drinks like cold brew, drip, cappuccinos and espressos, the concept serves iced tea and lemonade drinks, food items and various smoothies. Check out some of the new menu items from Daybright.
