Five Guys has opened a new flagship location on the Las Vegas Strip with a full bar and a menu that includes all-day breakfast, according to a Thursday press release. The 10,000-square-foot restaurant is located in the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort.
This restaurant is the first Five Guys location to offer a full walk-up bar that serves beer, wine, frozen cocktails and specialty boozy milkshakes, per the press release. It also includes a milkshake station for shakes and mix-ins. Guests also can order all-day breakfast sandwiches, including an Egg Sandwich; Egg & Cheese Sandwich; Bacon & Egg Sandwich; Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich and BLT Sandwich, with prices ranging from $8.50 to $10.99. Five Guys doesn’t serve breakfast across its system, but at only a handful of locations.
The flagship restaurant has custom murals and neon signs inspired by Vegas motifs, including dice, cards and Vegas Vic, a famous cowboy sign in Downtown Vegas.
Adding to the experience is a glass-walled potato prep station where guests can view Five Guys’ staff preparing hand-cut fries.
Five Guys has over 1,900 locations in 29 countries and has been expanding its reach. Earlier this week, it launched a partnership with ezCater to offer third-party catering services. The company has also rapidly expanded in recent years, adding hundreds of units to its store count in recent years.
While this is the first restaurant to have a full-service bar, the move is reflective of Taco Bell Cantinas that offer alcoholic beverages and a more experiential restaurant. If Five Guys’ restaurant is a success, it could open up more opportunities for additional flagship restaurants that offer this highly profitable channel.
